In this mini-guide we’ll compare the PowerCore, PowerCoreFusion, PowerCore Slim, the PowerCore+ Mini amongst others. Anker is without a doubt the favorite brand among portable charger fanatics right now, especially with their new “PD” (power delivery”) products.
I’ve personally tested most of these portable chargers, so I can attest to the quality of all of them. There are a few that I haven’t tested such as the Fusion (2 in 1 charger) but that is on my list. If you have any questions please feel free to hit us up on Twitter.
A few Anker definitions, that I’ve concluded for Anker’s portable charger:
PowerCore – Anker’s “baseline” model.
PowerCore Fusion – Only one product in this category, the 2 in 1 portable charger and wall charger.
PowerCore Slim -As the name suggests, a slimmer version
PowerCore+ – Ankers upgraded version of the PowerCore. More features and better quality
PowerCore+ Mini – Smaller in capacity and physical size

Our current favorite is the Anker Powercore+ 26800+ PD. This is one badass portable charger. It is also the current favorite for charging the Nintendo Switch as well. The only other charger that comes close to this in terms of PD is the Razer which is more money and about half the capacity. So no bueno.
We aren’t going to go much further with this comparison. It really depends on what you need. You can’t go wrong with any of these chargers. The only ones we aren’t really fans of are the Astro version, mainly because of the design.
If you aren’t sure what charger to get, just go with one of the mid-range Anker Powercore models like the 10,000 QC. It comes in black and white and has been tried and tested by the most people. It is small enough to fit in your pocket and will give you and your friend/partner a quick charge to get you through the rest of the day.
More to come, stay tuned!
